Wow! It's Christmas again!
This is the season for giving(and shivering) and receiving... so while we are busy shopping(like all good Singaporeans) and feasting, let's spend a couple of minutes to be thankful for what we have.
For ME
- for DW (keeping me firmly grounded as a teacher and a person)
- for my family(providing me love and support)
- for my friends(ditto on the love and support and smiles)
- for my teachers(without them, this Christmas would have sucked bad)
- for my students(keeping me inspired)
- for inner peace(no unreasonable stress and anxiety)
- for outer peace(no war, no riots, no real elections...)
- for all the material comforts(living like 'a king without a country')
Thanks to HIM for making it all possible!
So if you are complaining about the weather, or the presents(or lack thereof) or the food(no turkey for me this year...) or the end of the holidays, just spare a thought for everyone else around you who doesn't have the time to complain because they don't know if they will make it to the next week.
And be thankful.
Merry Christmas to all!
