Work has been pretty busy as usual. So blogging has truly taken one of the lowest priorities in my life now. Or if I may proffer an excuse, nothing really exciting is going on at the moment. Of course, that could just be me being myopic.
With the whole melamine scare going on, I often wonder what else are we eating everyday with the impression that they are safe to consume but are actually gravely mistaken. Ulp!
Looking at the current financial crisis, I am quite happy to be in a relatively safe profession, so that I am not distracted in my work about whether I will be affected by any corporate 'downsizing'. I really wonder about how employers who managed to convince their workers to increase their variable pay component in the interest of saving jobs, then turn around and cut jobs. What was that all about?
I'm hoping to find out more info soon about an upcoming book sale at the Expo. I will post up details soon. In the meantime, I hope this weekend will be peaceful for all!
